Donald C. Holmes & Associates works on essentially an hourly
charge basis. The firm's rates are $300 per hour for partners, $150 to
$200 per hour for attorneys and senior research personnel, $110 per
hour for law clerks, and $85 per hour for paralegals. We find that
these rates are approximately one-half of what large, Washington, D.C.
downtown firms are charging for the same high-quality personnel and
work.
Its suburban Washington
locations allow the firm to significantly reduce overhead costs, and
therefore lessen charges for services rendered to clients. We have
found this arrangement to be attractive to both large and small
business corporations. We are not on Pennsylvania Avenue or K. Street,
but we are on the subway line.
Donald C. Holmes & Associates further sets itself apart by
offering clients: estimates for performing specific tasks and
litigation efforts and, if circumstances warrant and the client wishes,
the firm can also provide fixed prices for conducting many legal tasks.
